The quintessential “Son of a Preacher” , Andy was raised amidst a dynamic Gospel music environment as he traveled the country back-roads of Australia with his Pentecostal Pastor parents.

 

By age 12, he was playing drums professionally. His passion for music was further fuelled by the eclectic songs coming from small town radio stations. Even as a boy, he felt akin with those who bared their soul in song. Music genre was irrelevant; they were songs from men with broken hearts.

 

The voices of Otis Redding, Elvis, Wilson Pickett, Tony Joe White & Lou Rawls left an indelible impression on him, and cultivated a depth of passion beyond his years. With a big stage presence, Andy transforms songs into compelling tales from the heart. He draws you in and invites you to get to know him. He doesn’t perform to the audience, he sings to you. His diverse love for music makes him as versatile as the songs he delivers. Soul, Gospel, or crooning a Blues-Jazz lullaby, his passion is ever present.

 

He has performed for British Royalty, hosted his own ‘Singing Chef’ show on US TV Networks & appeared in numerous Australian film & TV roles.
